Data and Galleries
The database and photo galleries from the Northeast Insula Project are gradually coming online this month. Two new menu items have been added to the top of each page: “Data” and “Galleries.” Each main menu displays sub menus that are the actual links. The ceramic corpus is finished and daily photo logs are coming online one year at a time. Database access is gradually being improved. Download features will be added eventually.
My goal is to have all items through 2010 viewable by March 1. Enjoy!
Excavation Plan
In 2011, the Concordia team will work in two very different areas of the Northeast Insula. In the northeast corner, work will continue on Cardo 4 North and the entrance to the garden. In the southwest corner, Building Alpha and the plaza to its north will be the focus. Click here for more details.
Baby H. has arrived!
With much joy we report that former volunteers Cameron and Andrea (Chandler) Heiliger today welcomed Landon Edward Heiliger at 7:12 AM, Ankara time. Cameron and Andrea teach English in Ankara, Turkey. Mother and baby are resting well.
